SOFTWARE BUYING DECISIONS

Elementor vs Brizy:
WordPress editing, paid features and deployment costs

Compare Elementor and Brizy WordPress editions for free editing, forms, dynamic templates, store design and the maintenance work around the builder.

START WITH YOUR BUYING BRIEF

Match the operating model.
Cost the complete workflow.

Both offer permanent free WordPress plugins and paid site-building features. Compare the editions needed to publish and maintain your actual templates: Elementor splits some professional capabilities between Essential and larger plans, while Brizy separates WordPress licences from its Cloud service. Neither free plugin supplies the hosting, domain and ongoing WordPress operation by itself.

A local service firm needs five brochure pages

Can the basic layout remain in the free plugin?

Elementor: Build the sample pages with the free editor and chosen theme.

Brizy: Build the same pages with the free WordPress plugin.

Count any external form or design extension separately; a template screenshot does not establish the retained feature set.

A business needs leads saved and sent to its CRM

Is a form on a page enough?

Elementor: Use a plan with submissions and the required integration, rather than assuming Essential includes both.

Brizy: Demonstrate the chosen marketing integration and failure handling in the quoted edition.

Submit synthetic data, verify it arrives exactly once and inspect the record left when the destination is unavailable.

A catalogue uses repeatable structured fields

Can one change update all relevant pages?

Elementor: Test the required custom-field integration in Advanced Solo or larger.

Brizy: Test the supported field plugin and Pro dynamic template.

Create two records with different field values, leave one optional field empty, and inspect the published mobile layout.

An agency maintains multiple client sites

What does the licence actually cover?

Elementor: Quote the current number of licensed sites and annual renewal.

Brizy: Quote the appropriate site-count licence and WordPress deployment.

Keep hosting, maintenance, client access, domain renewals and handover outside the editor-only comparison.

Design the acceptance page before buying the licence

Provide the same page brief to the person who would maintain the site: a responsive header, services grid, lead form, thank-you state and footer. Identify each component that comes from the theme, builder or an additional plugin. Build a representative version in a permitted evaluation and check keyboard navigation, small-screen spacing, field labels and form errors. A large widget count is not evidence that the particular site is easier for its owner to edit.

For a dynamic site, add two records with deliberately different content lengths and one missing image. Confirm that a shared template renders both sensibly and that changing a common element does not require manual edits across every page. Elementor’s public edition table distinguishes basic WordPress fields from external custom-field integrations. Brizy lists dynamic templates and compatible field plugins in its Pro comparison. Verify the exact plugin combination and retained edition, not merely a product-family feature label.

Separate the editor from the live WordPress service

Write down who supplies hosting, updates WordPress, maintains the theme and extensions, restores a backup and receives a failed-form alert. A free editor can sit inside a paid managed hosting service; a paid editor licence can sit inside a poorly maintained installation. Compare quotes that include the same backup, staging and recovery responsibilities. Do not reuse the scope of Brizy Cloud or an Elementor hosting package as though it were included in a standalone WordPress plugin licence.

Preserve a current checkout or written quote with licensed sites, renewal amount, tax treatment and cancellation terms. Brizy’s official page displayed different annual amounts in different blocks when checked, so this comparison withholds a single definitive price. For client work, ask how a site remains editable after the agency handover, who owns the licence and which premium capabilities need continued renewal. Test the handover on a copy before making it the operating plan for every customer.

Questions before you choose

Are the free plugins time-limited trials?

No. Both have ongoing free WordPress editions. Their premium design and business features require separate paid access.

Does Elementor Essential include every Pro feature?

No. The current comparison excludes popups, custom code/CSS, external custom-field integrations, retained form submissions and WooCommerce Builder from Essential.

Is Brizy Cloud the same purchase as Brizy WordPress?

No. Brizy describes Cloud as hosted by Brizy and WordPress as an installable plugin hosted by the customer. Compare the intended deployment.

Why is there no single Brizy annual price here?

The official WordPress page rendered conflicting annual price blocks when checked. Confirm the current licence and renewal amount at checkout before using a number in a buying decision.
