Editorial & sponsorship policy
How SoftwareRadar handles editorial judgement, sponsored content and commercial links.
Editorial profiles and comparisons
Our initial catalogue and researched comparisons are unpaid editorial content. Selection and order reflect the scope of the catalogue, not a purchased ranking. Source links allow readers to check vendor claims independently.
Sponsored articles and comparisons
Commercial content must be labelled “Sponsored” near its title and identify the sponsor. It must provide useful context, sourced factual claims and relevant buying considerations. We will not describe a paid outcome as an independent review or invent testing and user experience.
Links and referrals
The initial outbound vendor links are ordinary source and navigation links, not paid affiliate links. If we later earn a referral fee, affected pages and links must disclose that arrangement. Paid links use rel="sponsored"; badge attribution defaults to nofollow.
Badges
Listing badges are optional and free. They identify an existing directory profile and are not quality awards. We do not condition inclusion on a backlink, sell followed links or promise ranking benefits.
Corrections and disputes
Vendors may submit evidence of a factual error without buying sponsorship. Contact us through the enquiry form and include the relevant product and official source.
