THE WAY WE WORK

How SoftwareRadar researches software

Our sources, editorial standards and correction process.

1. Begin with official information

We use official product and pricing pages to research product descriptions, capabilities and plan availability. The initial catalogue was checked on 13 October 2026. Sources and check dates appear on every profile. Research and drafting use AI assistance to organise official evidence and write original summaries; this does not replace source checks or establish hands-on testing.

2. Separate facts from judgement

Feature lists summarise vendor-described capabilities. “Who should take a closer look?” and buying considerations are editorial analysis of those capabilities. They are not measured test results. We recommend a trial using your requirements before purchase.

3. Describe pricing without false precision

Prices vary by region, currency, billing period, promotions and add-ons. Where a live pricing page is ambiguous, we describe the pricing basis and direct readers to the vendor. Permanent free plans are distinguished from trials and conditional offers. Features may require a paid plan.

4. Avoid fabricated credibility

We do not invent user reviews, review counts, ratings, awards, testimonials or hands-on testing. There are no aggregate rating fields in our product markup. Listing badges identify a directory listing only.

5. Keep commercial content visible

There are no paid rankings in the initial editorial catalogue. Future sponsored content must identify the sponsor and qualify paid links. Payment cannot dictate the verdict of an existing editorial comparison.

6. Review corrections

Readers and vendors can submit corrections with official evidence. We review the evidence before changing the profile and update its check date when the relevant information is reverified. We do not promise a refresh cadence that has not been established.
