Why is my Google Calendar booking page missing or showing no times?
Separate three problems: creating an appointment schedule, using a premium booking feature and finding an available slot. Creation needs the computer web interface and an eligible account. A saved booking page can still show no suitable times because of its date range, lead time, availability, checked calendars or booking rules.
Check the exact account and an actual appointment date before changing subscriptions or widening availability. A missing payment option and an empty afternoon are different problems; buying a premium plan does not by itself explain either one.
Can I create appointment schedules in the mobile Calendar app?
Google’s creation instructions require a computer with a supported browser. The Android, iPhone and iPad Calendar apps do not provide appointment-schedule creation. If the expected option is missing in the mobile app, first check the computer web interface while signed in to the intended account. Creating the schedule, viewing its booking page and receiving the resulting calendar event are separate actions. Do not infer that the organiser’s account is ineligible solely because the creation control is absent on a phone.
Which account and subscription checks matter?
Personal Google accounts and Workspace Business Starter have a single-booking-page baseline. Additional schedules and other premium features have separate subscription eligibility. Some Workspace editions, including Frontline, Essentials and certain older subscriptions, cannot create appointment schedules. For a work or school account, confirm the actual edition and configuration with the administrator. A personal account open in another browser tab does not establish what the managed account can do. Use the Google Calendar profile and Calendly comparison to distinguish the booking feature from the wider calendar application.
Why are there no bookable times today?
| Check | Question to answer | Example of a misleading assumption |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduling window | Is this date inside the allowed advance-booking period and minimum lead time? | The page is empty now, so the schedule must be broken. |
| Date-specific availability | Is the intended period actually available on this date? | The normal weekly pattern must also apply on a holiday. |
| Appointment and buffer | Does the complete appointment fit between the relevant boundaries? | A visible gap of any length must contain a bookable slot. |
| Calendar conflicts | Which calendars are checked, and which relevant events are Busy? | Sharing another calendar means it is automatically checked. |
| Daily cap | Has the configured maximum already been reached? | A day with remaining clock time must accept another booking. |
| Time-zone display | What are the organiser and visitor’s zones on the selected date? | London is always exactly five hours ahead of New York. |
Inspect the intended rules before changing them. In particular, the creation instructions currently describe a default four-hour minimum lead time. A page checked immediately after setup can therefore have no same-day availability even when later dates are open.
Work through a same-day lead-time example
Imagine an organiser checking the booking page at 13:00 in the schedule’s time zone. If the minimum lead time is four hours, a 15:00 appointment is too soon: it is only two hours away. If that day’s configured availability ends at 17:00, there may be no remaining appointment that fits. This is a worked explanation of the stated timing rule, not a completed Google Calendar test. Inspect a later permitted date and the actual account setting before treating the empty day as a product failure.
Which calendars and co-hosts block availability?
Check the calendars selected for availability rather than assuming every calendar you can view is included. Premium eligibility can affect multi-calendar options. Then inspect whether relevant events are marked Busy and whether all-day entries explain a blocked period. Adding a co-host does not prove their calendar is being checked: the creation guidance says co-host availability is not checked by default. Confirm the intended configuration for the actual account. A shared meeting room also needs an explicit resource model; do not treat an ordinary appointment schedule as proof that staff and room capacity are both enforced.
Why does the time difference change in late October?
The UK and New York do not switch back from summer time on the same date in 2026. UK clocks go back on 25 October; New York’s daylight-saving period ends on 1 November. A recurring 15:00 London appointment therefore corresponds to a different New York wall-clock time during the intervening week.
| Appointment instant UTC | Europe/London | America/New_York |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-20T14:00:00Z | 20 Oct 2026, 15:00 | 20 Oct 2026, 10:00 |
| 2026-10-26T15:00:00Z | 26 Oct 2026, 15:00 | 26 Oct 2026, 11:00 |
| 2026-11-02T15:00:00Z | 2 Nov 2026, 15:00 | 2 Nov 2026, 10:00 |
These rows were calculated with named time zones and represent the same instant in each row. They are not screenshots or observed Google bookings. Record the date, schedule zone, visitor zone and actual event time when investigating a discrepancy. A fixed offset such as “London minus five hours” will not describe every week.
Why are payments, reminders or another schedule unavailable?
A working basic booking page does not establish access to every premium option. Compare the required capability with the actual subscription: Google One and the different Workspace editions do not all have identical appointment features. Payment-enabled appointments also need the supported merchant setup and have their own processing arrangements. If the requirement is one simple booking link, test that scope first. For a service business needing staff, intake, payments or shared resources, use the booking-software requirements guide to decide whether the built-in feature covers the full workflow.
How should I check the page without making unwanted bookings?
Inspect the exact public booking link and an agreed future date using a controlled participant or a separate permitted viewing context. Confirm the local time shown and compare it with the organiser’s configuration. If a booking rehearsal is necessary, use a consenting participant, a clearly identified test appointment and the organisation’s approved process. This article has not booked real appointments or sent invitations. Keep configuration observations separate from any measured result; a correct-looking page alone does not establish reminder delivery, conflict handling or payment completion.

Record the account type, feature, actual date, time zones, relevant calendars and observed rule. Leave an unknown item unresolved until it is checked. If bookings must create CRM follow-ups, use the CRM field and relationship checklist to define the handover. For the initial buying choice, compare Calendly and Google Calendar appointment schedules.
Frequently asked questions
Can I create an appointment schedule in the Google Calendar iPhone or Android app?
No. The reviewed creation instructions require a computer with a supported browser. The mobile Calendar apps do not provide appointment-schedule creation.
Why does my new booking page show no availability today?
Check the minimum lead time, allowed date window, availability, duration, buffers, conflicts and daily cap. The creation instructions describe a default four-hour lead time, which can remove same-day options immediately after setup.
Does adding a co-host automatically prevent their calendar conflicts?
No. The creation guidance says co-host availability is not checked by default. Confirm the availability-check configuration and account eligibility.
Is London always five hours ahead of New York?
No. Their daylight-saving transitions differ. In 2026, 15:00 London corresponds to 11:00 New York on 26 October, compared with 10:00 on 20 October and 2 November.
Does a paid Google subscription include every appointment feature?
No. Check the specific subscription and feature. Multiple schedules, calendar checks, co-hosts, reminders and payments have different eligibility boundaries.
