PERGOLA DEMO / 14 OCTOBER 2026

Sales Visualizer: from dimensions to a downloaded brief

We opened the public pergola configurator, changed its dimensions and finish, selected a motorized roof and accessories, and downloaded the configuration. The text file matched the selected product, dimensions, options and displayed estimate. Configurix is compared here through its official product and integration documentation; we did not run the same configuration in its software.

The demo’s dollar amounts describe an illustrative pergola, rather than the price of either software product. Its estimate excludes taxes, delivery, installation and site preparation.

Reconcile each choice before trusting the total

Increasing the footprint from 4 × 3 m to 5 × 4 m changed the sample estimate from $6,600 to $11,000. Selecting Ivory, motorized louvers, screens and lighting brought it to $13,500.

We then removed one choice at a time. Removing lighting reduced it by $300; removing screens reduced it by $850; returning to the standard roof reduced it by $1,200. Returning from Ivory to Anthracite reduced the final $11,150 to $11,000. These changes reconcile the $2,500 difference for this configuration. They do not establish a universal pricing formula or your production catalogue’s costs.

Check the limits and reset

The width slider exposed 2–6 m in 0.5 m steps; depth exposed 2–5 m in 0.5 m steps. Moving beyond the width maximum with the keyboard kept it at 6 m, and moving below the depth minimum kept it at 2 m. Reset returned to the 4 × 3 m Anthracite starting configuration and $6,600 estimate. This checks the demo controls. It does not verify structural rules, incompatible accessories or manufacturing feasibility.

What the download proves

The downloaded sales-visualizer-configuration.txt contained the pergola, 5 m width, 4 m depth, Ivory finish, motorized roof, selected panels and lighting, and $13,500 USD estimate. We opened it outside the configurator and checked those fields against the screen. It is a configuration brief, with no verified customer record, signed proposal, approval history or manufacturing bill of materials.

Configurix: verify the connected quote workflow

Configurix documents catalogue rules, commercial pricing, branded quotes and project handoff. Its Elite Aluminum case study describes automatic quotations with item SKUs. These are vendor-described capabilities: we did not create a quote, inspect a bill of materials or verify a CRM handoff in Configurix.

The checked demo entry offers a scheduled walkthrough. Bring the same representative product and a known price example, then ask to follow the saved choices into the actual proposal and receiving system. Specify the fields, revisions and integrations your team needs. A demonstration summary and an order-ready commercial record serve different purposes.

Use the evidence for your own trial

Sales Visualizer’s public demo let us explore a visual selection journey and inspect its downloadable brief. Configurix’s documented scope makes it relevant when a shortlist needs a broader configure-price-quote workflow. This research does not score the two products as equivalent tests or identify a universal winner.

Before choosing, run a valid product, an invalid option combination and a revision through your required output. Reconcile the commercial price, inspect the receiving record and agree who maintains product models, catalogue rules, price changes and integrations.

One public-demo product was tested. Production pricing, CRM and order creation, quote approvals, cross-browser persistence and ERP or manufacturing handoff remain unverified. Software subscription prices require a separate vendor proposal.
