BUYING COSTS & PLAN CHOICES

Ecwid plan costs: products, staff accounts and payment fees

Choose Ecwid Starter, Venture, Business or Unlimited around catalogue size and staff access. Separate regional subscription prices from processing fees.

In this guide
  1. Check capacity before the monthly rate
  2. Use the observed regional prices correctly
  3. Apply catalogue and role requirements together
  4. Zero platform transaction fee is not zero checkout cost
  5. Test the retained storefront

Check capacity before the monthly rate

The Ecwid pricing page checked on 20 October 2026 lists catalogue allowances of 10 products on Starter, 100 on Venture, 2,500 on Business and unlimited on Unlimited. Business lists two staff accounts; Unlimited lists unlimited staff.

Use the price shown for the merchant’s location and selected billing term. The public page rendered in EUR during this check; those figures should not be presented as a UK GBP quote.

Use the observed regional prices correctly

Observed EUR monthly-billed references; excluding displayed taxes, not a UK quote
PlanMonthly referenceListed products / staff detail
Starter€510 products
Venture€29100 products
Business€492,500 products / 2 staff accounts
Unlimited€119Unlimited products / staff accounts

Confirm currency, tax and annual-payment alternatives before purchasing. A monthly equivalent under an annual commitment is different from a monthly subscription.

Apply catalogue and role requirements together

Imagine a fictional store with 80 products and three additional employees who need separate staff access. The catalogue count alone suggests reviewing Venture, but it does not establish that the access model fits. Ask which people need administration, which need fulfilment access and whether the quoted package supports them.

Now consider a 150-product store with only one operator. Its catalogue exceeds Venture’s listed cap, regardless of the small team. Use both constraints rather than assuming that staff count and catalogue size grow together.

Zero platform transaction fee is not zero checkout cost

Ecwid’s plan comparison lists no Ecwid per-sale transaction fee. That does not establish free card processing. Confirm the payment provider, merchant country, settlement currency and any additional service charges.

List paid applications, domain renewal, theme work and required integrations separately. An application that adds a sales channel can carry its own subscription. Check whether the base plan permits the desired integration before adding its price to the budget.

Test the retained storefront

In an authorised test, check one product with the required options, a customer order, the intended staff handover and an export. Keep real payment details out of the demonstration.

Use the Ecwid profile, Gumroad fee example and WooCommerce running-cost guide for alternative operating models. Retain the accepted package and local quote.
