Shopware pricing: Rise, Evolve and Beyond costs explained

Check Shopware’s starting rates, GMV-based quotation and operating costs before choosing Rise, Evolve, Beyond or Community Edition.

In this guide
  1. Use starting prices as a quotation reference
  2. Map capability to the buying process
  3. Calculate only what the published rate supports
  4. Check the Community Edition conditions separately
  5. Keep the implementation and renewal brief

Use starting prices as a quotation reference

The Shopware price page checked on 20 October 2026 lists Rise from €600/month, Evolve from €2,400/month and Beyond at a custom price, excluding VAT. Community Edition has no core licence fee.

These are starting references, not universal project totals. Confirm the merchant’s GMV, required features, hosting route and support scope. A business cannot establish its final cost by multiplying the lowest headline without checking the actual commercial offer.

Map capability to the buying process

The checked page distinguishes Rise’s additional store tools from Evolve’s B2B and advanced search capabilities, and Beyond’s more complex pricing and fulfilment scope. Use the required buying journey to identify what the supplier must demonstrate.

For a fictional wholesaler, list customer account approval, buying limits, quotation and order handover. Describe the intended outcome rather than asking for every feature in the largest package. A requirement such as an approved customer purchase has to be demonstrated across the complete workflow.

Calculate only what the published rate supports

Calculated starting-rate licence references, excluding VAT
PlanListed monthly starting point12 months at that starting rate
Rise€600€7,200
Evolve€2,400€28,800
BeyondCustomWritten quote required

The annual references are multiplication, not fixed-price implementation offers. Add hosting, extensions, payment processing, setup and maintenance only after confirming what the actual proposal includes. Do not treat a higher starting rate as evidence of a better outcome for every merchant.

Check the Community Edition conditions separately

Shopware’s Community Edition policy makes access to its Account and Store subject to a GMV-related commercial-plan condition above the stated threshold. The no-core-fee description is therefore not the entire purchasing decision.

Use the Community Edition and GMV guide for that boundary. Keep the platform’s measurement and policy separate from a rough total-sales figure drawn from another report.

Keep the implementation and renewal brief

Request the named plan, quote period, GMV assumptions, support responsibility, integrations and recurring extras. In an authorised pilot, demonstrate one representative product, customer-specific order and exception, then record gaps and manual work.

Retain the quote date and the trigger for a new commercial review as sales grow. Use the Shopware profile and ecommerce shortlist for the wider decision. The useful comparison is the total retained service at the required scope, rather than a price-only ranking.
