Check a reproducible calculation
Use synthetic data with a known total, one transformation and one plot. Record the input, code, required products and output. Ask a second authorised user to reproduce it in the environment they would keep.
Review licence purpose and term separately from whether code runs. A successful trial does not establish ongoing rights to its add-ons or an organisation’s intended use.

No. MathWorks says the basic version is available only through MATLAB Online.
When does the MATLAB Online basic 20-hour limit reset?
The allowance resets at midnight UTC at the start of each calendar month. MathWorks documents a limited continuation of an active session after the allowance is reached.
Does a MATLAB licence include every toolbox?
Do not assume this. Confirm the products on the actual licence and the toolboxes required by your code.
Can MATLAB Home be used for company work?
MathWorks describes Home as personal use only and excludes commercial, government, academic and other organisational use. Choose the offer for the actual intended work.
