SOFTWARERADAR — MICROSOFT TEAMS SHIFTS REVIEW EXERCISE Guide: https://softwareradar.co.uk/guides/microsoft-teams-shifts-staff-scheduling/ Official documents reviewed: 16 October 2026. All people, requests, rota and clock entries are fictional editorial examples; no real employee or vendor account data is included. ROTA Eight four-hour positions over 19–20 October 2026 in local Europe/London time. This example has no overnight or daylight-saving transition. Four member-role worker references; guest G01 is an access-review example only and is not assigned. All positions require their stated role. No planned breaks or additional break cover are modelled. Required gross position time 32 hours; assigned 28; shared and assigned 24. S04 is open for four hours despite pending request R01 from W04. S05 is assigned but draft for four hours. S06 is shared but W02 is available only 10:00–13:00, leaving one hour outside the stated availability. Thus 23 hours are shared, assigned and within the fixture availability, with nine gross position-hours unresolved. This is editorial reconciliation, not a vendor coverage report or an automatic scheduling result. TIME REVIEW Three hypothetical clock records refer only to Monday S01/S02/S03, whose gross scheduled intervals total 720 minutes. Clocked time less all stated breaks totals 715 original and 705 final/edited minutes. The employee-confirmed subset has 465 final net minutes; C01 remains unconfirmed with 240 final net minutes. Employee confirmation is not manager/payroll approval. Net clock intervals and gross planned coverage have different bases. No paid-hour policy, entitlement, wage, tax or complete payroll is calculated. These columns are an editorial schema, not a faithful reproduction of a Microsoft export. TRIAL REVIEW Ten proposed checks have blank plan, client/role, observed-result, evidence, reviewer and decision fields. Map the fictional practice files to the actual tool and use an authorised test environment. They are not Microsoft import templates or reports of passed product trials. No schedule, invitation, account, licence, notification, time entry, export, payroll or integration was operated for this article.
